Phiraphat Srisuk, Managing Director of the Industrial Real Estate Group at Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, stated that the company’s experience and expertise in operating with a customer-centric approach has gained the trust of Big C Supercenter Public Company Limited to develop the Big C Bang Pa-in Distribution Center in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The center will be built on a 108-rai land with approximately 89,000 square meters of usable area, making it Big C’s largest distribution center. Strategically located with access to several main roads, it will facilitate rapid nationwide distribution, with construction set for completion in June 2025.

The new Big C distribution center is a Built-to-Suit facility designed to efficiently manage high volumes of inbound and outbound goods. With storage heights reaching 14 meters and floor load capacities of 3.5 and 6 tons per square meter, it features both ambient and temperature-controlled areas maintaining 25 degrees Celsius to preserve product quality, such as pharmaceuticals, supplements, cosmetics, and health products. It can store over 90,000 pallets and dispatch more than 400,000 boxes daily.
Moreover, the Bang Pa-in center stands out for its sustainable development, incorporating green technology like a 998-kilowatt solar cell installation and an intelligent electrical system, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1,920 tons annually—equivalent to planting 37,700 trees. It also prepares for electric vehicle charging stations, promotes water-saving sanitation facilities, and implements an efficient resource management system reducing water usage by 50% and non-recyclable waste by 87% compared to standard buildings, aspiring for LEED green building certification.
